English Translation of Al-Quran
[20].Surah Taha [Tâ-Hâ]
Ayat 122. Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness, and gave him guidance.
Ayat 123. (Allah) said:"Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.
[Tafseer] But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him, and gave him Guidance. He said: "Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery. The little variations between this passage and 2:38 are instructive, as showing how clearly the particular argument is followed in each case. Here ihbita ('get ye down') is in the dual number, and refers to the two individual souls, our common ancestors: in 2:38 ihbitu is in the plural number, to include all mankind and Satan, for the argument is about the collective life of man. On the other hand, "all together" includes Satan, the spirit of evil, and the enmity "one to another" refers to the eternal feud between Man and Satan, between our better nature and Evil. For the same reason as in the last note, we have the consequences of Guidance to the individual, viz.: being saved from going astray or from falling into misery and despair. In 2:38, the consequences expressed, though they apply to the individual, are also appropriate taken collectively: "on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) taught my father two statements to recite in his Du`a. These are: "Allahumma al-himni rushdi, wa a`idhni min sharri nafsi (O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself).''
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 3483].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Taha Ayat 122."Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness, and gave him guidance" "Al-Hidayah'' (guidance) means the ability to do good deeds. It is an indication of the right course for every action. "Deliver me from the evils within myself'' refers to the desires of the baser self which ruin both the worldly and religious life.
