English Translation of Al-Quran
[22].Surah Al-Hajj [The Pilgrimage]
Ayat 75. Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.
Ayat 76. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them. And to Allah return all matters (for decision).
[Tafseer]  Ayat 75. Allah chooses Messengers from angels and from men for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). Men are chosen as Messengers to ordinary men; for ordinary men will riot be able to understand and be in communion with beings so refined as angels. But angels are sent as Messengers to Allah's chosen prophets, to convey the Message from time to time. In either case they are chosen by Allah, are subject to Allah's Will, and should not be worshipped as gods. As Allah regards the humblest of His creatures and hears their prayer, He sends men messengers out of their own brethren (see last note), and to such messengers He communicates the highest spiritual Truths through His angels. Ayat 76. He knows what is before them and what is behind them: and to Allah go back all questions (for decision). Time, before or behind, may be of some importance to men. They may dispute as to what was the first Message, and what is the last Message. To Allah this question of priority and posteriori is of no consequence. All questions go back ultimately to him and are judged on their merits.
English Translation of Hadith
< /span>
Hazrat Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said to Jibril (Gabriel), "What prevents you from visiting us more frequently?'' Thereupon was revealed the Ayah: "(The angels say:) `And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Rubb. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two". (19:64)
[Al-Bukhari Book 06,Chapter 60, Hadith # 255]
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hajj Ayat 75."Allah chooses Messengers from angels" This Hadith tells us about the Prophet's [SAWW](PBUH) desire for meeting angel Jibril (Gabriel) to have that knowledge which was revealed to him by means of Wahy (Revelation). It also tells us that angels descend to earth for certain mission by the Command of Allah. They have no say of their own in any matter. It also indicates that it is permissible to enquire about Muslim brothers after a long period of time as this is a sign of true love.
