English Translation of Al-Quran
[27].Surah Al-Naml [The Ants]
Ayat 83. And (remember) the Day when We shall gather out of every nation a troop of those who denied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and (then) they (all) shall be gathered (and driven to the place of reckoning).
Ayat 84. Till, when they come (before their Lord at the place of reckoning), He will say: "Did you deny My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) when you comprehended them not in knowledge, or what (else) was it that you used to do?"
Tafseer of Surah Al Naml (The Ants) Ayat 83 & 84. One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks,- Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), (Allah) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs, though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?" The charge against them will be: 'You had no knowledge, and yet you arrogantly rejected My Signs; is that true, or have you any plea in your defense?'
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone. The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: `What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to do evil?' He will reply: `I was enjoining you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it myself".

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Naml Ayat 84 "when you comprehended them not in knowledge, or what (else) was it that you used to do?" This Hadith serves a stern warning for such `Ulama', preachers so called scholars and reformers of the Ummah whose own conduct is contrary to the sermons they give from the pulpit.
