English Translation of Al-Quran
[25].Surah Al-Furqan [The Criterion]
Ayat 20. And Allah never sent before you (O Muhammad  SAWW (PBUH) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And Allah have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything). < /span>
[Tafseer] of Ayat 20. And the messengers whom Allah sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: Allah have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). In Allah's universal Plan, each unit or thing serves a purpose. If some are rich, the poor should not envy them: it may be that the rich man's proximity is itself a trial of their value. If some are poor, the righteous rich should not despise or neglect them; it may be that their coming within their sight is a trial for the real feeling of charity or brotherly love in the rich. If A is bad-tempered or persecutes or ill-uses B, it may be an opportunity for B to show his patience or humility or his faith in the ultimate prevalence of justice and truth. Whatever our experiences with other human beings may be, we must make them subserve the ends of our spiritual improvement and perhaps theirs too.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Every one of my followers will be forgiven except those who expose (openly) their wrongdoings. An example of this is that of a man who commits a sin at night which Allah has covered for him, and in the morning, he would say (to people): "I committed such and such sin last night,' while Allah had kept it a secret. During the night Allah has covered it up but in the morning he tears up the cover provided by Allah Himself.''
[Bukhari Book.08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 95].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Furqan Ayat 20."Allah have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience?" "We learn from this Hadith that commission of a sin due to human frailties on which one is ashamed but does not like to express is something which might hopefully be forgiven by Allah. In fact, its remission after penitence is almost sure. But to commit a sin openly is totally different because, firstly, the heart of such a person is deprived of the fear of Allah. Secondly, he has no respect and regard for Divine injunctions. Thirdly, such a person usually does not repent his sins. Fourthly, he makes a declaration of breach of Divine injunctions which amounts to inviting His wrath and punishment.
