Alhamduli'Allahi Rabbil-'Aalameen wa-Salaatu wa-Salaamu 'alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa-e-wal-Mursaleen~ wa ba'd. Assalaamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu.   Transliteration Of the 'Quran' :-   Wakhfid lahuma janahaaththulli mina arrahmati waqulrabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayanee sagheera.   Translation:-   And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say:-  "My Lord! bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood."                                    {Allah Humma Aameen}                         { Source :- 'QURAN' ~ Surat Al-'Isrā' (The Night Journey) 17-A # 24 } HADITH:-   DOING GOOD FOR PARENTS AFTER THEIR DEATH! { Imperitive } When a person asked the Prophet ~ (salalau alai hi wa sallam) whether he can do any good for his parents after their death....he said:-   #1/~ 'Yes, you can pray for them~   #2/~ Ask forgiveness for them~   #3/~ Fulfill their obligations by honoring their friends~   and ... {?}   #4/~ Maintain family ties that would not exist but for them." {Source :- Sahih Bukhari ~Hadith # 35 }   Abdullah bin Amr narrated that... Prophet ~(salalau alai hi wa sallam) said :-   "The Lord's pleasure is in the parent's pleasure and the Lord's anger is in parent's anger."     {Source:-Hadith # 1899 Chapter on Righteousness~ Jami' At-Tirmidhi, Vol. 4 } My Salaams to You All.... ...
