In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Assalam'o'alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi  Wa Barakatuhu

English Translation of Al-Quran
[24].Surah An-Nur [The Light]
Ayat 61. There is no restriction on the blind, nor any restriction on the lame, nor any restriction on the sick, nor on yourselves, if you eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your father's brothers, or the houses of your father's sisters, or the houses of your mother's brothers, or the houses of your mother's sisters, or (from that) whereof you hold keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin on you whether you eat together or apart. But when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah (i.e. say: As-Salâmu 'Alaikum - peace be on you) blessed and good. Thus Allah makes clear the Ayat (these Verses or your religious symbols and signs, etc.) to you that you may understand.
[Tafseer] of Ayat 61. It is no fault in the blind nor in one born lame, nor in one afflicted with illness, nor in yourselves, that ye should eat in your own houses, or those of your fathers, or your mothers, or your brothers, or your sisters, or your fathers brothers or your fathers sisters, or your mother's brothers, or your mother's sisters, or in houses of which the keys are in your possession, or in the house of a sincere friend of yours: there is no blame on you, whether ye eat in company or separately. But if ye enter houses, salute each other - a greeting of blessing and purity as from Allah, thus does Allah make clear the signs to you: that ye may understand.  There were various Arab superstitions and fancies which are combated and rejected here. (1) The blind, or the halt, or those afflicted with serious disease were supposed to be objects of divine displeasure, and as such not fit to be associated with us in meals in our houses: we are not to entertain such a thought, as we are not judges of the causes of people's misfortunes, which deserve our sympathy and kindness. (2) It was considered unbecoming to take meals in the houses of near relatives: this taboo is not approved. (3) A simple superstition about houses in our possession but not in our actual occupation is disapproved. (4) If people think they should not fall under obligation to casual friends, that does not apply to a sincere friend, in whose company a meal is not to be rejected, but welcomed. (5) If people make a superstition either that they should always eat separately, or that they must always eat in company, as some people weary of their own company think, either of them is wrong. Man is free and should regulate his life according to needs and circumstances. The shades of meaning in Salam are explained in surah 19: ayat 62. Here, we were first told that we might accept hospitality and good fellowship in each other's houses. Now we are told what spirit should animate us in doing so. It should not be a spirit only of self-satisfaction in a worldly sense. It should rather be a spirit of good will in the highest spiritual sense of the term-purity of motives and purity of life, as in the sight of Allah. "In His will is our Peace." The refrain comes again, in a different form, closing the argument from a different point of view.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you shall not believe until you love one another. May I inform you of something, if you do, you love each other. Promote greeting amongst you (by saying As-salamu `alaikum to one another)".
[Muslim Book 01, Chapter 23, Hadith # 096]
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nur Ayat 61."when you enter the houses, greet one another with a greeting from Allah (i.e. say: As-Salâmu 'Alaikum " In this Hadith, Islam has been regarded as the medium of mutual love. This is the reason Muslims have been enjoined to greet each other regardless of acquaintance. It does not, however, mean that a Muslim will be a true believer or entitled to Jannah, by mere greeting. What it really means is that his Faith will become meaningful only when it is supported by actions. Greeting is an Islamic custom and a practical form and demonstration of it. The combination of Faith and its practice will take a Muslim to Jannah.

Sincerity in Obedience,
Insincerity in Performing the Good Deeds,
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/2845/z4bb106d43d26e.gif

~Ikhlas (Sincerity)~

Sincerity in obeying Allah is among the obligations of the heart. It is also one of the good characteristics.

Sincerity in obeying Allah is doing the good deeds for the sake of Allah only. It is not doing them seeking the praise and respect of people. Allah made sincerity a condition for the acceptance of the good deeds.

Allah, Ta^ala, said in the Qur'an:

فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاء رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلاً صَالِحًا وَلا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا
Faman kana yarju liqa'a Rabbihi falya^mal ^amalan salihaw wa la yushrik bi^ibadati Rabbihi ahada.

Ayah 110 of Surah Al-Kahf means:

"Let the one who believes in the Day of Judgment do good deeds without seeking the praise of the people by doing so."

The sincere person is the one who performs the good deeds—be it praying, fasting, Hajj, Zakah, or reciting Qur'an—seeking the reward from Allah, and not for the sake of people praising and mentioning him.

The one who is praying should be performing obedience for the sake of Allah only, not so that the people will say: "So and so prays, he does not miss any obligation."

Also the one who is fasting should be fasting for the sake of Allah only.

The same applies to, the case of the one who is giving Zakah, sadaqah, reciting the Qur'an, or anyone who is performing a good deed.

The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:

إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذا عَمِلَ عَمَلاً أَنْ يُتْقِنَهُ، قِيلَ: وَمَا إِتْقَانُهُ يَا رَسُولَ الله؟ قَالَ: "يُخْلِصُهُ مِنَ الرِّيَاءِ وَالْبِدْعَة"
Innallaha yuhibbu ahadakum idha ^amila ^amalan ay yutqinah. Someone said: "Wa ma itqanuhu ya Rasulallah." The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Yukhlisuhu minar-riya'i wal-bid^ah."

Which means:

The Prophet, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said:

"Certainly, Allah loves for one of you
when performing a deed to perform it properly."

Someone said: "How is that, O Messenger of Allah?"

He (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied:

"One does it only for the sake of Allah
and according to the rules of the Religion."

(Narrated by As-Suyutiyy.)

~Riya' (Insincerity)~

Is the opposite of sincerity. It is doing the good deeds, such as fasting, for the praise of the people and their admiration.
Insincerity nullifies the reward of the deed. The performer of any deed that is done with insincerity receives no reward, whether it was done for the praise of people only or coupled with seeking the reward. Moreover, such a person commits an enormous sin.

~Priding oneself for obeying Allah~

After performing certain types of obedience, some people feel conceitedly proud of these actions. They feel they have a high status because of performing these actions, forgetting that Allah is the One Who inspired and enabled them to do these good deeds.

Insincerity and priding oneself for obeying Allah are two sins of the heart. They are also two bad characteristics that the pubescent person must avoid. One should be sincere while obeying Allah to earn the reward from Allah.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
Assalam'o'alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi  Wa Barakatuhu

English Translation of Al-Quran
[24].Surah An-Nur [The Light]
Ayat 60. And as for women past child-bearing who do not expect wed-lock, it is no sin on them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show their adornment. But to refrain (i.e. not to discard their outer clothing) is better for them. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. < /span>
Tafseer of Ayat 60. Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage,-there is no blame on them if they lay aside their (outer) garments, provided they make not a want on display of their beauty: but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things. For elderly women in the home the rules of dress and decorum are not so exacting as for younger women, but they are also enjoined to study modesty, both because it is good in itself, and as an example to the younger people. Another example of a refrain: Verses 58 and 59 were closer connected: their refrain was practically identical. This verse, though ancillary, is less closely connected; its refrain comes in like a half note melody.< /span>
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) used to supplicate: "Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda, wat-tuqa, wal-`afafa, wal-ghina (O Allah! I beseech You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment).''
[Muslim Book 35, Chapter 17, Hadith # 6566].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah An-Nur Ayat 60. "But to refrain (i.e. not to discard their outer clothing) is better for them. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. "Guidance'' means guidance towards virtue which one needs at every step. The ability to do good and steadfastness on the Right Path is also covered by the term guidance. To comply with the Orders of Allah and to prevent oneself from what He has forbidden is Taqwa (fear of Allah), the importance of which needs no elaboration. `Affaf is prevention from sins. It also means evasion from seeking help from others. Ghina means riches which makes one independent of others so much so that all one's hopes are centered on Allah Alone. The prayer quoted in this Hadith is very comprehensive indeed."
