Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuh! In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate! ~ Sustenance ~ (in the light of Noble Qur'an) Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allah's Orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives (of His Bounty, Blessings, Favours, Honours on the Day of Resurrection) to whom He wills, without limit. { 2:212 } And eat of the things which Allah has provided for you lawful and good, and fear Allah in Whom you believe. { 5:88 } And no moving (living) creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterus, grave).  All is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz - the Book of Decrees with Allah). { 11:6 } And so many a moving (living) creature carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. { 29:60 } And what loss have they if they had believed in Allah and in the Last Day, and they spend out of what Allah has given them for sustenance? And Allah is Ever All-Knower of them. { 4:39 } And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth,  but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is, in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them). { 42:27 }   ... And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). { 65:2 } And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things. { 65:3 } Points to ponder Sustenance comes under the things which are obtained from destiny. Every one's sustenance has been written before one's birth. But it is on the discretion of the human beings that is he getting it either from Halaal or Haraam way? No human being neither can get more than what part of sustenance has been decreed for him and nor he can die before eating the part of sustenance what has been decreed for him. Allah has created the human being for that he worship Allah, behave nicely with his fellowmen and invite the people towards goodness and forbid the evil and keeping trust in Allah try hard to procure Halaal sustenance. But we have changed our settings to day for every thing. The sustenance which has been decreed to us, we are running after it. To earn the sustenance we have forgotten the worship of Allah. We have started to procure it by deceive, murder, theft, bribery, usury and every type of wrong doings. Though we were told to abstain from all these things.  All these are ways shown to us by Shaitaan. Whosoever takes bribe and practice usury, he could have obtained by Halaal sustenance but his thinking was not right. As per his thinking, in the same way he was provided the sustenance. We should believe that no body can eat our part of sustenance. We should not follow the wrong ways. ~ You who believe! Have fear of Allah and seek the means of drawing near to Him and strive in His way,so that hopefully you'll be successful. (Qur'an, 5:35)

~ Ask your Lord for forgiveness and then repent to Him. He will let you enjoy a good life until a specified time, and will give His favour to all who merit it. But if you turn your backs, I fear for you the punishment of a Mighty Day.(Qur'an, 11:3)

~ Strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has selected you and not placed any constraint upon you in the religion-the religion of your forefather Ibrahim. He named you Muslims before and also in this, so that the Messenger could be witness against you and you could be witnesses against all mankind. So perform prayer and give alms and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector-the Best Protector, the Best Helper. (Qur'an, 22:78)
